Greg R. Notess
Greg R. Notess, author of Teaching Web Search Skills: Techniques and Strategies of Top Trainers, is reference team leader and a professor at Montana State University. He has been covering the Internet since 1991. A three-time Information Authorship award winner, he is the "On the Net" and "Internet Search Engine Update" columnist for ONLINE and the author several Internet books. An internationally-known conference speaker, Greg has presented at Internet Librarian, Web Search University, Computers in Libraries, and international meetings in Paris, Oslo, Stockholm, Pretoria, Ottawa, Copenhagen, Sydney, Zagreb, and several locations in India. On the Web, Greg maintains SearchEngineShowdown.com which reviews, compares, and analyzes Web search tools, and he has a newer blog, LibCasting, which focuses on screencasting and libraries.
